SUMMARY:Free CHEX Community Empowerment Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Getting in on the Act for community-led health\n\n\nThe Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act has been around for more than a year now. Community Health Exchange (CHEX)\, in partnership with Edinburgh Community Health Forum\, is running this free workshop for community organisations\, which is a chance to find out what the Act contains and how to make use of it. \nAs well as providing a general overview\, the workshop will introduce you to: \n\nUsing participation requests to start a conversation with public bodies about how to improve services.\nAsset transfer requests in relation to land and buildings in your community that you would like to make better use of.\nHaving your voice heard in community planning.
