We are thrilled to be restarting the next round of Action Learning Sets which will run directly after the next 4 forum meetings. By way of introducing Action Learning Sets, here is a short blog from Biddy, one of the participants of the first round:
“I was interested in developing a way to incorporate ALS within the staff team so that there could be an open honest space to discuss issues / concerns but one that would collectively come up with solutions. I wanted to go on the training to see how ALS would work for my team. #
I got so much more out of it – ALS challenge you to think in different ways, to think about how you as a person are looking at a certain situation and then take you somewhere so that you are able to look at it with clarity from another view point.
I also learnt that I am not alone and got an incredible amount of support from the group. I would highly recommend this – especially for the people who do not have time for it – make time – it is worth it.”
