Cruden Foundation Limited and Nancy Massey Charitable Trust

Grants are available for registered charities in Scotland working for the support and improvement of their local community. 

Maximum value: Discretionary

 Background and Objectives of Fund

Grants are provided by the Cruden Foundation.  The funding is for charities in Scotland that work for the benefit of their local community in areas such as:

  • Social welfare.
  • Health.
  • Arts.
  • Education.
  • Heritage and Conservation.

 Who Can Apply and Further Information

Scottish charities are eligible to apply.  Applications can be submitted at any time.  Applications are reviewed by the Trustees three times a year. The secretary can authorise grants of up to £5,000 between meetings.   The trust does not maintain an email address or website. Applications must be submitted in writing and must demonstrate need and purpose of support.  Applications including financial details (eg annual accounts) are helpful to the Board when considering applications.

Nancie Massey Charitable Trust

Grants are available for charitable organisations in the Edinburgh area working for the benefit of the young, the elderly, medical research, education and the arts.

Maximum value: Discretionary
Application deadline: None specified

Background and Objectives of Fund

The Nancie Massey Charitable Trust, a registered charity since August 1989, offers grants to other charities as well as voluntary organisations that are active in Edinburgh for projects that support the young, the elderly, medical research, education and the arts.  Funding is available to support the following:

  • The prevention and relief of poverty.
  • The advancement of education.
  • The advancement of health.
  • The advancement of arts, heritage, culture or science.

 

Who Can Apply

Eligible organisations must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a charitable body.
  • Be based and operating in the Edinburgh region.
