Consultation Watch April 2016

April 4, 2016

A brief roundup for Lothian Community Health Initiative members of relevant consultations open in April 2016:

Day Services for Adults with a Learning Disability

Do you, a service user, or someone you care for, use Edinburgh day services for adults with a learning disability?

Consultation runs to June 2016, see:

Early Learning and Childcare

Early years childcare hours are getting bumped up by the Scottish Government and Edinburgh City Council wants to know how this increase should be delivered.

Lots of options and variations are proposed in the consultation which closes on 29th April 2016, see:

Late Hours Catering Licence policy

Perhaps indirectly of interest to Forum members, the Council are consulting on revisions to this policy which could impact community health and wellbeing.

The Late Hours Catering Licence policy touches on takeaways and late liencese issued during the festival, so if you have opinion chip in here before 1st May 2016:

Alcohol in Leith

Bit of a local one, this consultation seeks comments from individuals and organisations on alcohol licensing for the Leith area.

Given ongoing national interest in alcohol consumption, have a view at the link below before 22nd April 2016:

You are doing a really great job keeping us all informed and linked in. Hugely helpful to know the health inequalities agenda is represented, as individual projects simply cannot make it to all the meetings that take place.
