The second meeting of the innovation fund working group was held in City Chambers today, chaired by Stephanie-Anne Harris. The group aims to deliver a working process in order to best allocate the fund, of which £100,000 will be available each year 2019 through 2021.
The group looked at more detail at a potential application process. Discussion was focussed around the first stage which was felt should be no more than 2 A4 pages and questions left quite broad in order not to restrict potential creativity.
Timelines were also discussed in depth. There is a desire to keep momentum going so as the fund can be advertised in mid December, in order for those interested to start to brainstorm potential ideas and make connections with other collaborators.
